On August 3rd, 1978, during the annual family meeting in Cap d'Antibes, it has been decided that Heydar Ghiaï de Chamlou's three sons ;Yves, Claude and Alain would leave France and pursue their studies in the United States of America.
The three sons became architects and graduated from The Pratt Institute in New York.
In 1982, Yves, under the direction of the family patriarch, started to expand the family consortium by creating a series of corporations raging from Architecture, Real Estate Investments, General Contracting, Real Estate Development.
The sudden passing of the family patriarch in 1985 prompted Yves to write and publish numerous articles and books about the work of his father.
Yves Ghiaï de Chamlou designed, developed and built numerous internationally renowned architectural projects. His work has been featured in over 30 books and magazines. He was awarded the gold medal of the French Academy of Architecture and a proclamation from the City of San Francisco proclaiming October 26th the Ghiaï Day in San Francisco.
Yves Ghiaï de Chamlou is also a Professor of Architecture and has taught and lecture in numerous universities in the USA and in France.
Claude Ghiaï de Chamlou dedicated most of his efforts to various businesses and financial activities.
Alain Ghiaï de Chamlou founded an online Cloud company listed both in NASDAQ and the Canadian Exchange.
On March 25th 2012, Mariette Ghiaï de Chamlou passed away in Paris. She was a true matriarch and was involved in many cultural activities in Paris.
Anahita Ghiaï de Chamlou graduated at the École Nationale Suprérieure d'Architecture in Paris (The Beaux Arts School) and became an architect.
Shahpur Ghiaï de Chamlou, Claude's son, became a successful financier in London.
Aryana Ghiaï de Chamlou obtained her Masters Degree in business and is now working for a large multinational luxury group in Paris.
